Texas Tin Roof Cabin is located on the western shore of Lake Whitney, Texas, off of highway 56 and just outside the town of Whitney. It is 40 miles north of Waco and 60 miles south of Dallas/Fort Worth. Click here for driving directions.

There are 2 small grocery/convenience stores and gas stations within a few miles of the Cabin and two large grocery stores located in Whitney. In Whitney you can also find numerous convenience stores, fast food establishments, several restaurants as well as an array of small shops both on and around the town square. There are also boat and jet ski rentals available nearby, and fishing guide services. Whitney also has a hospital with a staffed Emergency Room and EMS service.

In Hillsboro, 13 miles east of Whitney, is the Prime Outlet Mall, historic Courthouse, and downtown antique shops.
